Paris (France) – December 6th, 2022 – Sentea was honored by the Jury of the Open Innovation Factory 2022 organized by GRTgaz, in the category “Industrialization of a structural monitoring system”.
Our photonic integrated interrogators will be deployed to monitor “smart repairs” of pipelines, instrumented with fiber optic sensors. They will measure the state of deformation of the repair, in order to decide whether or not to extend its service life.
This innovative solution will extend the repairs’ service life from 2 to 20 years, while maintaining the pipeline network safe.
The interrogators will be interfaced with a wireless communication system, for both aerial and buried pipelines.
