Sales Manager

Your responsibilities
As Sales Manager, you are responsible for achieving the company’s sales objectives. You develop and implement sales strategies, identify growth opportunities and build sustainable relationships with customers and partners. You are a crucial link in realizing revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve the company’s objectives.
  • Manage the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Analyze sales results and report sales performance to management.
  • Prepare and follow up on price quotes.
  • Support in identifying new market opportunities and customer needs and developing customer solutions in collaboration with business development and product development.
  • Support negotiations with key customers and conclude contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors and customer feedback to continuously optimize sales strategies.
 
Your skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales of technical products.
  • Preferably experience in sales of industrial automation systems or industrial sensors.
  • Experience with complex and longer sales processes at larger companies
  • Preferably professional bachelor or master’s in industrial or technical sciences or similar
  • Excellent commercial skills (communication skills, negotiation techniques, …).
  • Entrepreneurial, stress-resistant and independent.
  • Fluent English; German and/or French is an advantage.
  • Based in Ghent, frequent travel is a requirement.
You will be part of a fast-growing and international team, contributing to safer civil infrastructure and more efficient production of renewable energy. Our offices are located on the technology park near Ghent.
